The report came out Dec. 1 that the Chinese Foreign Ministry has accepted the copy of credentials presented by Asadullah Bilal Karimi, from Afghanistan to be the new Ambassador to China, which will be a first in the Taliban government’s foreign relations. This positive move, shown in a photograph from the Afghan Foreign Ministry, which issued a statement, follows the participation of a Kabul delegation in October at the third Belt and Road Forum in Beijing, and plans by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to actively join the Belt and Road Initiative.
