Putin Will Not Send Christmas and New Year Greetings to Heads of Unfriendly States

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on Dec. 23 that Russian President Vladimir Putin would only take a brief break over the holidays, and that his working trips around Russia “will resume shortly after the holidays.” As for traditional Christmas and New Year greetings, “he will not [send them] to the unfriendly states, but he will to the friendly ones,” the spokesman said.
