What’s Happening in Bethlehem This Christmas? Maybe You Should Do Something About It Before Celebrating

No celebrating in Bethlehem this year. CC/Dan Lundberg

Did you know that Christian churches in Bethlehem have canceled Christmas celebrations? How many of your googly-eyed-shopping friends and neighbors have stopped to consider that Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, is in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, and inhabited by Palestinian Christians, as well as Muslims?

The Christian leaders in Bethlehem are in mourning for the nearly 20,000 (as of this writing) Palestinian civilians who have been slaughtered by the American-armed Israeli Defense Forces since the Hamas terror attack in Israel on October 7. Therefore, Christmas in Bethlehem will be a time of sorrow and silence, unless the people of the United States force our criminal and murderous Biden Administration to act to halt the slaughter.

The world will long hold every American Citizen to account for our failure in forcing the demented President Joe Biden to stop the carnage being perpetrated by our Israeli ally in Gaza. Everyone knows that a simple phone call from Joe Biden to Bibi Netanyahu would be sufficient to stop this mass-murder, which will soon kill thousands more of disease, dehydration, and starvation as temperatures drop, and 1.7 million Palestinians are without homes or shelter.

UN Secretary General António Guterres called the Security Council into a special emergency session on December 8, 2023 in order to vote on a resolution calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire and unconditional release of the hostages.
