A Jan. 8 article by Jason Brody published by the Atlantic Council, “ISIS Was behind the Kerman Attack. Iran Still Blames Israel and the United States, Though,” purports to argue that Iran knows perfectly well that the U.S. and Israel had nothing to do with the Jan. 3 slaughter of nearly 100 civilians attending a memorial at the graveside of murdered Gen. Qassem Soleimani in Kerman, Iran, but is blaming them anyway just for public relations reasons. The true culprit, he writes, was ISIS.
Brody is the policy director of the fanatically neo-con United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI), which specializes in calling for all-out war against Iran, as EIR has previously documented.
