Kremlin Says Report That Putin Might Let Ukraine Join NATO Is Bogus

Bloomberg ran a report on Jan. 25 claiming that Putin is testing the waters on whether the U.S. is ready to engage in talks for ending Russia’s war in Ukraine, to even include consideration of allowing Ukraine to join NATO. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, however, slammed the Bloomberg report as untrue. “That is a bogus story. It has absolutely nothing to do with reality,” he said, reported TASS.
