Romanian Farmers Block Major Entry Point for Ukrainian Grain

Romanian agricultural producers set up a blockade for several hours on Jan. 13 at a major Romanian-Ukrainian checkpoint in protest against the importation of grain, the which could cause a price collapse throughout the Black Sea region, as reported by RT.

The Ukrainian authorities confirmed the blockade, and stated that about 825 vehicles waited to pass through the checkpoint, but didn’t give any details as to the number of participants in the blockade, although the article featured a photo of several big and beautiful modern tractors, implying that tractors were used.
