Italian media expert Alberto Contri points his finger to the Davos elite to explain why mainstream media have generally censored the “historical” revolt of German farmers and truckers. Look at the “line” just coming out of the World Economic Forum meeting: “as their dangerous projects are encountering problems everywhere,” they say: “We need to rebuild trust.” In other words, as an investigative journalist has paraphrased it: “We must find ways to censor and silence anyone who disagrees with us.” Not surprisingly, EU Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen herself has set out to “lead global collaboration to address disinformation and polarization.”

That is why you have not heard from mainstream media about what is going on in Germany, a revolt that could bring down the Scholz government and the EU altogether.
