Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is simply getting fed up with the Ukrainian people. They are much too concerned about their own deteriorating domestic conditions and too little about the war. Zelenskyy was speaking to Britain’s The Economist weekly today. The Economist notes that whereas Zelenskyy had been very upbeat in his previous interview, this time he was quite downcast. “Mobilization is not just a matter of sending soldiers to the front,” he said. “It concerns all of us. It is the mobilization of all efforts. This is the only way to protect our state. Let’s be honest, we have switched to domestic politics.” According to Zelenskyy, if Ukrainians continue to focus on domestic politics, then they need to announce elections and change the law and constitution, but forget about offensive actions.
