Arson and Other Attacks Aimed Against Activist Farmers in Europe

Whereas one farm protest organizer in southeastern Saxony was threatened by anonymous harassers to stop working for the protests, police are investigating two other incidents that featured terrorism. After the attack on two horses in a paddock in Weischlitz, Vogtland, the police are investigating, because one of the animals, which suffered a knife injury, belongs to an organizer of the farmers’ protests in the Vogtland region. In another incident, an arson attack against the agricultural equipment belonging to a farm organizer in the vicinity of Oelsnitz, Vogtland, caused a half-million euros in damage. The attackers of this attack likewise remained anonymous.
