Britain and Poland Stand with U.S. in Bombings in Syria and Iraq

A British government spokesperson stated U.K. support for the U.S. in its Feb. 2 bombings in Iraq and Syria, according to quotes given today by Reuters, without attribution. “The U.K. and U.S. are steadfast allies…. We wouldn’t comment on their operations, but we support their right to respond to attacks…. We have long condemned Iran’s destabilizing activity throughout the region, including its political, financial, and military support to a number of militant groups.”
