German Horse Ranchers Join Farm Protests, Riding Through Kassel

While horse ranchers and breeders have been taking part in protest actions by farmers, now for the first time they had their own event. Under the slogan “Horse keeping must remain affordable,” ranchers rode around 60 horses through Kassel’s city center on Feb. 17. In addition, 200 people joined the demonstration on foot. The organizers spoke of around 100 horses and 250 participants.
