NBC Reports U.S. To Give Kiev Long- Range Missiles If Funding Approved

NBC News reported yesterday, that the Kiev regime is specifically asking for the long-range version of the ATACMS missile fired from the HIMARS launcher that the Ukrainian army already has. The version that the U.S. has already provided has a range of 165 km; the longer-range version can go up to 300 km.

The U.S. is now leaning toward sending the longer-range version of the missile, unnamed officials told NBC, which would bring much more of Crimea within the range of Ukrainian bombardment. But, NBC notes, U.S. funding for arms shipments to Ukraine remains uncertain because of opposition from former President Donald Trump and his Republican allies in Congress.
