Former President Donald Trump easily won the South Carolina primary election for his party, coming 20 points ahead of Nikki Haley, the state’s former governor. Haley has vowed to remain in the race, perhaps in the hopes that as the now official anti-Trump, she will be able to take the lead should something happen to Trump.
