UN Official Warns of ‘Slaughter in Gaza’ if Israel Attacks Rafah

“Military operations in Rafah could lead to a slaughter in Gaza. They could also leave an already fragile humanitarian operation at death’s door,” Martin Griffiths, United Nations Under Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs, said in a statement on Feb. 13, according to the New York Times.
