President Volodomyr Zelenskyy signed a new decree on Feb. 6 calling for the creation of a separate type of force—unmanned systems. While this is simply a continuation of the use of drones in combat, it will require some people to activate the drones, unless he intends to have an army of robots. It is very likely that his “measure” would also lead to dragooning women into the army, which has hitherto not been frequent. There are now regiments of women deployed specifically in drone warfare.
