March 9, 2024 (EIRNS)—The City of London’s Financial Times reported on March 7 that there is “sweeping resentment” against the West across the Arab world, as a result of the Gaza devastation being perpetrated by Israel with full backing from the United States and other European nations. The sentiment in the region is hardly news; what is newsworthy, in this case, is that Britain’s financial elite chose to recognize that fact in writing and advise their readers of the radically changed situation.
The Financial Times quoted a selected unnamed “man-in-the-street” to make their point. “America doesn’t care about human rights… Not only is it watching Israel commit genocide, it’s helping them do it. And then they have the audacity to turn around and lecture us about humanity.”
