March 23, 2024 (EIRNS)—Russian officials have put the death toll in yesterday’s terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk at 133, the toll having risen this afternoon as rescuers pulled more bodies out of the rubble of the theater.
Russia’s Investigative Committee said in a statement issued earlier that preliminary examination of evidence gathered at the concert hall indicated that the attackers used automatic weapons and flammable liquids. It also reported that four suspects were apprehended in the Bryansk region heading towards the Ukrainian border, and that 11 people in total had been arrested.
