March 2, 2024 (EIRNS)—Benny Gantz, a member of the Israel war cabinet, will visit Washington on March 3 for a series of meetings, without having coordinated with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to sources cited by Ynet yesterday. From Washington, Gantz is expected to continue to London.
Gantz is head of the National Unity party which was in the opposition until after the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack, when he entered the “war cabinet.” If elections were held tomorrow his party would most likely win.
