European Commission Proposes To Use Stolen Russian Funds To Arm Ukraine

March 20, 2024 (EIRNS)—European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has responded to opposition coming from Hungary and Slovakia for the EU to not fund the war in Ukraine, by agreeing that not all of the €3 billion in interest on the stolen Russian funds would go to buy weapons for Ukraine—only 90% of it would be used for arms! She generously offered to have 10% of the total go for Ukraine’s general budget.
