COPENHAGEN, March 7, 2024 (EIRNS)—Ulla Sandbæk, former Lutheran pastor, and member of both the EU Parliament and Danish Parliament, added her signature to support the Oasis Plan today. She is an initiator of the Danish citizens petition “Denmark has the duty to prevent genocide,” and spoke on that topic at the Schiller Institute in Denmark’s meeting on March 2. She was also an Art of Living teacher in the West Bank for women political prisoners for six months a year for seven years.
Sandbæk was a Member of the European Parliament for the People’s Movement against the EU 1989-1994 and for the June Movement 1994-2004; a member of the Danish Parliament for the Alternative Party 2015-2019; and an Art of Living teacher on the West Bank in Palestine 2004-2011.
