March 29, 2024 (EIRNS)—The dustup over the alleged violation of Polish airspace by a Russian cruise missile last weekend is not going to result in a rupture of Polish-Russian diplomatic relations, at least not in the near term. As previously reported, Sergey Andreyev, the Russian ambassador to Warsaw, was summoned to Poland’s Foreign Ministry over the incident but didn’t show up for his appointment. He explained later that his Polish interlocutors weren’t going to show him any evidence of the alleged violation, so it made no sense to go.
