March 1, 2024 (EIRNS)—Sberbank, Russia’s largest bank, made a record profit of $16.3 billion in 2023. This is the bank that was excluded from SWIFT in 2022 and was supposed to go bankrupt, together with the whole Russian economy, thereby provoking a popular revolt and ending the special military operation in Ukraine.
