Texas Governor Issues Anti-Free Speech Dictate To ‘Fight’ Anti-Semitism

March 29, 2024 (EIRNS)—After much carrying on about Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter’s anti-free speech policies, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott handed down an Executive Order on March 27 “Relating to addressing acts of antisemitism in institutions of higher education,” demanding that universities, among other things, “review their free speech policies” in order to “establish appropriate punishments for antisemitic rhetoric.” The Order is necessary for students to be “safe,” he claims.
