March 10, 2024 (EIRNS)—The Health Ministry in Gaza reports this morning that the Palestinian death count from Israeli military operations now stands at 31,045. The number of wounded amounts to 72,654. It says that 72% of the victims are women and children. A further 25 people have died from malnutrition and dehydration.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced yesterday that Türkiye has dispatched some 40,000 tons of humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip, through 19 aircraft and 7 civilian aid vessels so far, reported the official Anadolu Agency. This aid, he said, includes food, water, hygiene, medical, and shelter supplies, along with 53 ambulances, 1551 generators, 8 field hospitals, and 3,000 tents.
