Warmonger Hodges Ridicules Scholz for Not Sending Taurus Missiles to Kyiv

March 28, 2024 (EIRNS)—The former commander of U.S. Army Europe, Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges (ret.), warned of the consequences Germany will face if it does not provide more military support to Ukraine. “The Europeans must get down to work and make a serious effort to help Ukraine defeat Russia,” the senior military official told BBC Ukraine. He praised French President Emmanuel Macron for his proposal to send in NATO troops.

Then he turned against Germany. “Should Russia win, Germany would be the biggest loser,” Hodges said, because Germany would be a “hostage to the Russian nuclear threat…. It is in Germany’s interest that Ukraine defeats Russia,” summarized Hodges. He emphasized that supporting Ukraine is not “charity for Ukraine,” but is in Europe’s own interests.
