April 26, 2024 (EIRNS)—China has announced a policy of rebates for owners of older electric vehicles or motor vehicles produced under the lower air quality standards of the past, whereby such customers can receive a 10,000 RMB (roughly $1,400) incentive for buying a new energy vehicle or 7,000 RMB (roughly $1,000) for buying a new car with tighter emissions standards, Global Times
