April 28, 2024 (EIRNS)—The International Court of Justice on April 26 announced that it will rule April 30 on a case accusing Germany of facilitating genocide in Israel’s nearly seven-month offensive against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, reports Anadolu Agency today. “On Tuesday, the International Court of Justice will deliver its Order on the Request for the indication of provisional measures submitted by Nicaragua in the case concerning Alleged Breaches of Certain International Obligations in respect of the Occupied Palestinian Territory,” the ICJ statement said.

Nicaragua’s 43-page submission on April 8-9 argues that Germany is in breach of the 1948 UN Genocide Convention. “By sending military equipment and now defunding UNRWA … Germany is facilitating the commission of genocide,” says the submission in Nicaragua v. Germany.
