Japan’s Kishida Rattles His Saber Against China before Meeting with Biden

April 8, 2024 (EIRNS)—Japan’s bellicose Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told CNN Sunday ahead of his April 10 meeting at the White House with President Joe Biden, that strategic tensions caused by Russia and China have brought the world to a “historic turning point,” and “that is why Japan has made a decision to fundamentally reinforce its defense capabilities and we have greatly changed Japan’s security policy on these fronts.”

Kishida will meet with Biden and then with both Biden and Philippines President Marcos, and he will also address a joint session of Congress.
