Private Military Companies Recruiting Cartel Members To Fight in Ukraine

April 9, 2024 (EIRNS)—A [report in RIA Novosti](ria.ru/20240409/verbovka-1938891829.html) says that private military companies are recruiting members of the Colombian and Mexican drug cartels from U.S. prisons to fight in Ukraine. According to information received by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, this is being done under the auspices of the FBI and the DEA, an indication, they note, of the desperation in NATO attempts to turn the tide on the battlefield. While the plausibility of this being the case is very high, there has been no further verification from other sources that this is occuring, but it bears further investigation.
