April 2, 2024 (EIRNS)—Nikolai Patrushev, the secretary of the Russian Security Council, said yesterday in an interview with Argumenty i Fakty (aif.ru), that the entire NATO policy is being built under the command of the U.S., which uses the bloc to have military presence in Europe, reported TASS. “The entire NATO policy is being built upon commands from Washington. It uses the alliance to maintain its military presence in Europe and to demonstrate its satellites’ support of its indispensability in regards to ensuring the security of this continent,” Patrushev believes. He also noted that the U.S.-controlled military bloc is thought to exert illegitimate pressure of the so-called collective West on sovereign states using military, economic, informational, and other resources.
