April 26, 2024 (EIRNS)—Attacks have already been committed against the area on the Gazan beach where the aid pier proposed by the U.S. is to be established. The Washington Post reports that U.S. and Israeli sources confirmed that the UN workers preparing the beach came under limited mortar fire on April 25.

The Department of Defense posted an update on its plans to build a pier in the Mediterranean and a causeway to connect it to the land. The White House insists that no American troops will be operating on the ground. But in this case, the ground is not so far from the pier!
