April 10, 2024 (EIRNS)—Radio talk show host [Tucker Carlson interviewed](https://tuckercarlson.com/uncensored-munther/ Palestinian Lutheran pastor in Bethlehem, Rev. Munther Isaac on his “Tucker Carlson Uncensored” network yesterday. In a short teaser from Carlson that Isaac reposted on his X account, Carlson asked “How does the government of Israel treat Christians? In the West, Christian leaders don’t seem interested in knowing the answer. They should be. Here’s the view of a pastor from Bethlehem.”

Responding to Carlson’s questions about how U.S. evangelical Christians, and particularly those in Congress, respond to the plight of Palestinian Christians, Reverend. Isaac presented a damning picture of the utter hypocrisy of those Americans who profess to be followers of Jesus, but act in a way opposite to the teachings of Jesus. The religious right in the U.S. spout off grand opinions about Israel and Gaza, he said, but their views are “shallow”—they know nothing about the situation on the ground, nothing about Palestinian history, or the history of the region. Do they help Palestinian Christians with money? No, Reverend Isaac said. They give money to Israel and its military.
