April 14, 2024 (EIRNS)—The U.S. Treasury and the U.K. have barred delivery of Russian metals—nickel, silver, and aluminum—to the London Metals Exchange and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, according to a Bloomberg News report. This is another “price cap” idea like the one that ultimately has failed for Russian oil.
