April 3, 2024 (EIRNS)—Authorities of the Tatarstan region of Russia reported on April 2 that Ukrainian UAVs attacked facilities in Yelabuga and Nizhnekamsk in Tatarstan in the Volga area, as well as an oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk located at a distance of about 1,200 km from the border with Ukraine, according to TASS. No damage was done in either case. The drones “were outfitted with NATO equipment,” the Tatarstan press office said in a statement.
