Kuleba Proclaims, U.S. $61 Billion Is a Start, but Full-Scale War Mobilization Needed

April 25, 2024 (EIRNS)—Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba told London’s The Guardian that the U.S.’s $61 billion military aid package was simply not enough. Before the words about saving Ukraine with the $61 billion had died away, just as the hook was in the mouth, Kuleba jerked on the line: “No single package can stop the Russians. What will stop the Russians is a united front of all of Ukraine and all of its partners.” The West must commit for war and war production: “When I see what Russia achieved in building up its defense industrial base in two years of the war and what the West has achieved, I think something is wrong on the part of the West. The West has to realize the era of peace in Europe is over.”

While Russia’s defense mobilization is not to be denied, it was not permissible to bring that up in Congress last week. Now, the West is being called upon to drop its illusions and orient around large-scale warfare for the indefinite future.
