German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock (Greens) has once again accused Russia of being behind hacker attacks on targets in Germany, proclaiming, “We see that the Russian war of aggression is being waged at all levels.” Baerbock made her remark, speaking to journalists today during her visit to Fiji.
She further charged that Russia had blocked grain exports from Ukraine “through the siege in the Black Sea.” In addition, Moscow had carried out “massive cyber attacks” in Ukraine as well as on the Social Democrats and companies in Germany, Baerbock said. “And that is a process that is irresponsible. It is an event that we cannot remain silent about.” After her proclamations, Berlin recalled German Ambassador to Moscow Count Alexander Lambsdorff for consultations.
