Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly, according to the Times of Israel, called for an immediate end to Israel’s assault on Rafah, after Israel’s Sunday evening airstrike caused the fiery death of at least 50 Palestinians. Joly posted on X that Ottawa is “horrified” by the reckless disregard for Palestinian life: “Canada does not support an Israeli military operation in Rafah. This level of human suffering must come to an end.”
Germany’s Foreign Ministry posted on X: “The images of charred bodies, including children, from the airstrike in #Rafah are unbearable.” Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto warned that such strikes will have long-standing repercussions. He told SKY TG24: “Israel with this choice is spreading hatred, rooting hatred that will involve their children and grandchildren.”
