That was the title of a May 3 article in the New York Times. Joe Biden spent most of his career as a “tough on crime” politician, but now he just wants to get reelected. Elected officials such as Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) and Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR) have told Biden that the move to reclassify marijuana will help him win more young voters in November. A very demeaning Blumenauer, referring to young voters, said, “This is not low-hanging fruit. This is picking the fruit up off the ground.” However, polls show most young voters are more worried about Biden’s wars, the cost of living, inflation, and low wages.
