Medvedchuk Swears Justice for Those Murdered in Odessa 10 Years Ago

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Odessa massacre, Viktor Medvedchuk, leader of the “Other Ukraine” movement and former head of Ukraine’s “Opposition Platform—For Life” party (now banned in Ukraine), told TASS that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has responsibility for having covered up the bloody crime, in which some 40 people were killed and 170 injured. He explained: “The Zelenskyy gang, his closest mates, their accomplices and those who committed crimes against civilians who were burnt to death in Odessa, and those whose criminal actions entailed thousands of deaths in the course of hostilities must be severely punished. They should receive just punishment no matter which country they may be staying [in]. We know the names of these scumbags, we know everything about their crimes. This list is available on the ‘Drugaia Ukraina’ (Other Ukraine) website,” he said.

Medvedchuk also challenged Zelenskyy’s constitutional basis for ruling, after May 21: “Under Ukraine’s constitution, Zelenskyy cannot act as President after May 21. But has he ever abided by law?” The West “supports Zelenskyy because he is a cynical extremist who has ruined his country for the sake of his morbid ambitions, which have thrown the Ukrainian people into the fire of war.”

“Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have fallen victims, millions have lost their homes and jobs,” he went on to say. “The problem is not that after May 21 Zelenskyy will be an illegitimate president, but that Ukraine has already lost its statehood and there is nothing to talk about here…”
