Reuters Forced To Retract Cameron Statements About Attacking Russia

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova had reacted strongly today to British Foreign Secretary David Cameron’s statements from Kyiv yesterday that Ukraine could use weapons supplied by Great Britain to attack Russian territory. Zakharova said that this clearly showed that the war Russia was facing was, in fact, a war with NATO. Obviously, others in the West were also taken aback by Cameron’s statements. While Cameron has not retracted the statements, Whitehall’s official mouthpiece, Reuters, did take the statement off their websites. Zakharova noted that Cameron’s statements had “forced London to back down and sacrifice Reuters.”
