There was a second drone attack on Wednesday morning, May 29, on the early warning radar system at Armavir, Krasnodar Territory in Russia, according to a statement issued by the governor of Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratyev, as reported today on smotrim.ru, the website of Russian state TV. The attack was reportedly unsuccessful, but it followed by one week the May 22 attack on Armavir which apparently did produce some damage to its critical radar array.
This is now the fourth such provocation against Russia that has been reported going back to April: an advanced radar site in Kovylkino, Mordovia Republic was attacked in April; on May 22 the Armavir system was hit; on May 26 another radar site in Orsk was attacked; and now the Armavir site was targeted again on May 29.
