Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced at an Anakara press conference yesterday with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, that Türkiye will join South Africa’s lawsuit against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Fidan said that Türkiye had been weighing the decision for some time, but that Ankara has decided to act: “We will submit our formal application to the International Court of Justice once we finalize the legal text, putting this political decision into action.”
