Young Palestinian Medical Students Have Lost Everything, Yet Work Every Day

A group of international doctors spent three weeks in Gaza as part of a project of the World Health Organization, according to The Guardian. The doctors had arrived in early May at the European Hospital in Khan Younis (two dozen other hospitals had been destroyed). Their suitcases were filled with medical supplies and “Quality Street” candy for the children. The foreign doctors worked with local Palestinian doctors and Palestinian medical students.
