Dozens Killed at UNRWA School in Gaza, IDF Claims It Took Great Precautions Were Taken

Palestinian medics said that dozens were killed by airstrikes yesterday in central Gaza. Two children were laid out at Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah. Their father Abu Mohammed Abu Saif said: “This is not war, it is destruction that words are unable to express.”

Both sides agree that the IDF hit an UNRWA school in central Gaza. The Gaza media office initially claimed that at least 27 died in a “massacre.” (That number has now risen to 37 confirmed dead.) The Israel Defense Force (IDF) said that it carried out a precise strike on a compound used by Hamas, while taking extensive measures to minimize harm to civilians.
