Belgorod was bombarded Sunday morning. X/twitter poster Lord Bebo reported that Russian soldiers have published pictures of debris of HIMARS rockets, that they say were shot down over Belgorod. “These HIMARS rockets require target programming and satellite reconnaissance, which is done by Americans,” he reports.

Another X user, who goes by the handle “Big Serge,” posted the following comment: “So Ukraine got permission to fire HIMARS at Belgorod, and within 24 hours Russia destroyed the generation at three more power plants along with gas storage in Lviv. Is this a good trade for Kiev? Does this seem like a solution to their strategic problems?”

In its daily update of yesterday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the following: “In response to attempts by the Kiev regime to damage Russian energy and transport facilities, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have launched a group strike with high-precision long-range air and sea-based weapons against Ukraine’s energy facilities, which operate the military-industrial complex. Moreover, ammunition depots of Western-made weapons have been destroyed.”
