The Carrier Strike Group of the Italian Navy has sailed off from the port of Taranto on Saturday, to join US, Japan and Australia in military maneuvers in the Indo-Pacific. The CSG is led by the Cavour aircraft carrier and is accompanied by Italian, Spanish and French frigates. The mission in the Pacific and South China Sea will last two months and the CSG will also visit the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore and India.
