Putin Will Travel to Tsarskoye Selo To Celebrate Pushkin’s 225th Anniversary

The Kremlin announced that President Putin, who will be traveling to St. Petersburg for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, will be stopping by the site of the former imperial palace at Tsarskoye Selo, to visit the famous Lyceum located there which had trained the children of many young Russians from aristocratic families, including its most famous alumni, the poet Alexander Pushkin. This year is the 225th anniversary of his birth and will be celebrated throughout Russia, and hopefully in many other parts of the world.
