Rosatom and Burkina Faso Sign MOU on Nuclear Power

Meeting on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev and Burkina Faso’s Energy Minister Yacouba Zabré Gouba, signed three memorandums of understanding concerning cooperation on the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. After yesterday’s meeting, Gouba told Sputnik that a group of technical specialists from Rosatom will travel to Burkina Faso’s capital, Ouagadougou, in the coming days, to study what capacity should be considered and where a nuclear power plant would be built.
