Officials in Moscow have made clear that they have no doubt that the U.S. is behind the June 23 Ukrainian rocket attack on a beach in Sevastopol, Crimea, and that there will be a response to it. The Russian Foreign Ministry summoned U.S. Ambassador to Moscow Lynn Tracey in the wake of Sunday’s attack. “During a conversation with head of the U.S. diplomatic mission to Russia Tracey at the Russian Foreign Ministry on June 24, a protest was issued to her over another deadly crime by the Kiev regime, being sponsored and armed by Washington, which conducted a deliberate missile attack on civilians in Sevastopol, causing numerous casualties, including among children,” the Ministry said, reported TASS.

The Ministry also said that the United States, which is waging a hybrid war against Russia, has actually become party to the conflict by “supplying the Ukrainian army with the most advanced weapons, including ATACMS missiles, equipped with cluster warheads, used against residents of Sevastopol, whose flight paths are programmed by American military specialists, bears equal responsibility with the Kiev regime for this atrocity….

“The envoy was told that such actions by Washington, aiming to encourage Ukraine’s pro-Nazi authorities to continue combat ‘to the last Ukrainian,’ having issued a permission to deliver strikes deep inside Russian territory, will not go unanswered. Response measures will definitely follow,” the Russian Foreign Ministry underscored.

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in reply to a reporter’s question this morning, unambiguously said that Moscow will respond to the attack. “Naturally, the U.S.’ direct involvement in combat which resulted in Russian civilians dying cannot go without any repercussions. Time will tell which ones precisely,” Peskov said.

The Russian Foreign Ministry, in a statement issued at 13:59 in Moscow, charged that the U.S. is behind this “heinous crime” that killed 4 people and wounded 151, all civilians. “There is no doubt that the United States is involved in this ominous crime. Washington and its satellites have created and nurtured the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev. They are cherishing and supporting their Ukrainian puppets, using them to wage a war against Russia, and encouraging them to commit acts of international terrorism and kill Russian civilians, including with the use of cluster munitions, one of the most terrible types of inhumane weapons. A response to this crime will inevitably follow,” it said.

“The Western capitals continue to criminally hush up the Zelenskyy regime’s barbarous actions. There are no denouncements from international organizations either. The Russian Federation is again urging them to give a proper assessment to yet another outrage perpetrated by the Kiev regime and the West.”
