Sare and Ritter in Interview, Say, ‘This Is a Righteous Revolution!’

Diane Sare on Issues that Matter with Cynthia Pooler.

Diane Sare, officially on the ballot for the Nov. 5 election for U.S. Senate in New York State and former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter were interviewed this week on Cynthia Pooler’s podcast “Ideas That Matter.” Their explosive joint interview is a nearly hour-long “must see”!

In a freewheeling and heated discussion, candidate Sare stressed that not enough Americans understand the strategic crisis, that, in fact, people are brainwashed. Many people are gut-wrenched by the mass murder of Palestinians, yet still support the U.S. policy against Russia. She said, “I’m the only candidate who was able to collect enough signatures for state wide ballot status—twice—and we probably talked to 250-300,000 people in the course of gathering the signatures this past month. We did it entirely with volunteers.”

The U.S. isn’t helping Ukraine, the Ukrainian people are being destroyed. We have to ask, “Where should the United States be in 50 years? We must be a force for the Good. Schiller was so optimistic after the American Revolution. No one had ever defeated the British Empire before, but, today, we have lost our way. We must allow people to consider how they themselves allowed our nation to go down this disastrous path where no one is qualified to be president. There is a real openness in the American population and there are solutions.”

Ritter opened by discussing his upcoming trip to Russia to promote his “Waging Peace Project,” and to better understand the Russian culture and soul. He will meet with many regional leaders there. He detailed the ongoing march to nuclear war. Russians want peace, but if both sides are driven by fear, catastrophe could result. “We need to build connections,” he said.

Ms. Pooler asked about the role of oil in many of the conflicts around the world. Ritter said there is no single reason for these conflicts, but it’s not oil and gas that cause war; it’s people that cause wars. The U.S. uses the multinationals to dominate global economic activity. “We need to get people like Diane into the U.S. Senate to promote peace.”
